Standard Course

ELLCI offers Standard Course of Italian Language and Culture, a 20-hour-per-week course, taking place from Monday to Friday, from 9.00 am to 1.00 pm or from 2.00 pm to 6.00 pm in a mini-group; i.e. 4 hours a day to learn quickly the Italian language.

Our Standard Italian Language Course lets students acquire the 4 linguistic abilities (listening, reading, writing and speaking) and develop a "5th ability," that also gives our students the opportunity to learn the Italian non-verbal language and communication codes, through subjects related to different aspects of the Italian culture, of the Italians' lifestyle and nature.
The course is held by 2 teachers with specific educational tasks.
At the end of the course, our school issues a diploma stating the level of Italian competence attained, in accordance with the European Council reference frame.

  • 4 starting levels: beginner, elementary, intermediate, advanced
  • Small groups of students of different nationalities
  • Schedule: from Monday to Friday, from 9.00 am to 1.00 pm or from 2.00 pm to 6.00 pm
  • Hours: 20 per week
  • 2 excursions per month in Milan and its surroundings with the teachers of the school
  • Textbook and educational material included
  • Issue of the documents necessary for a study visa for Italy
  • Final exam
  • Diploma in accordance with the European Council Frame
  • Tutor for the students
  • Free vacation in Sardinia for courses lasting 9 months or more

Our Standard courses are suitable for the preparation of the CELI and CILS exams.
